We would like to also thank your Team of Facilitators, especially Joey, Lem and John. Everyone could tell they were truly passionate about their roles and they went about their Facilitation with great gusto and enthusiasm. While you can say that it’s all part of their jobs, we beg to differ, as it is such dedication to service that is always difficult to come by and hence, all the more commendable.

To cite a few examples – when one of my colleagues needed to leave the programme earlier due to an urgent matter that cropped up at work, John happily offered to dial a cab for my colleague and show him where to wait for the cab as he knew how difficult it is to call a cab at the location; and he even went down to Siloso Beach Resort this morning, in the rain, to make sure that all the participants had taken their breakfast and were prepared to leave for FOCUS Adventure.

Joey and Lem were excellent Facilitators who were always on the lookout for the participants, careful to make sure they don’t get hurt during the games, arranging for transport for them, etc.

A big thank you to each and every one of the FOCUS Team who were there the past two days. All the best.

I have been to several courses and FOCUS has the best Facilitators. They tried to relate the activities to our work, and yet are not overbearing. I love the element of fun in all the activities and the Facilitators who made my stay so enjoyable. The rain hardly dampened our mood thanks to John and Joey who brought umbrellas out for us in the rain. I'm also thankful for the photographers working in the background and taking all the unglam shots. These photos would be reminders of the fun that we had.

Facilitators Joey and John were professional, patient and entertaining. They put on a very friendly and approachable front and set the atmosphere right for making friends and Team bonding. I am very impressed by the entire organisation and Team. I felt very well taken care of throughout the entire course, especially when Joey carried umbrellas to the beach for all of us when it was raining. We have had fun in both sessions! We have gotten feedback that the 2nd session was even more awesome than the first! There were more challenges involved, and more Team interaction required.

The Facilitators were able to relate the activities and games to real working scenarios e.g. collaboration. Andrew and John Seah had emphasized the importance of Teamwork and tried to put it into real working life. This is one point which I like most. One of the most wonderful thing was I got to know one colleague through the Teambuilding event. I did not know him before even though he had been working with School of EEE for over 9 years while myself for 3.5 years.

I would like to thank both you and your Team for Facilitating such a fantastic and fun day for Volvo and I would say you guys are really good at what you do! I’m sure the experience will be the topic of the week and soon everyone will be bugging me for the video! The event went very smoothly and thanks for keeping the programme timings close to schedule as well as accommodating to our many requests and the surprises at the end of the day. Though everyone is aching and tired today back at work, they have all positive feedback on the programme and are glad to have taken the time off their busy schedule for this event. We have definitely achieved our objectives from the event!
