The Facilitators were able to relate the activities and games to real working scenarios e.g. collaboration. Andrew and John Seah had emphasized the importance of Teamwork and tried to put it into real working life. This is one point which I like most. One of the most wonderful thing was I got to know one colleague through the Teambuilding event. I did not know him before even though he had been working with School of EEE for over 9 years while myself for 3.5 years.

My special thanks goes to the “EVER cheerful & helpful” Serene who has helped so much on ensuring each session was run smoothly, and always going the extra mile to “entertain” our requests (e.g. can we not have the same energizers :p). On a scale of 1 to 10, I would call it an 11.  For me personally, and from what I observed, I think the off-site accomplished every desired goal – most importantly, everyone had fun while working together in a team environment.  Andrew, the Lead Facilitator, was perfect for our team and he did a wonderful job of managing the time and the activities.  And although a treasure hunt at 2pm in the afternoon is probably not the ideal time, it was good for the team to get out of the conference room to work hard and sweat together a bit.  Even the newest and quietest folks on our team were shouting and cheering by the end of the day.

I am glad to say the Finance team enjoyed the trip.Some find the challenge tiring but nothing beat the fun, laughter and teamwork that were shared.  Your facilitators did a good job by warming all of us up during the energizer. The food served during tea break and dinner received fantastic reviews.  I am impressed by the dinner seating and appreciate Darwin’s help in all the arrangement.
