FOCUS Adventure - BFC 19

BFC 19 was jam packed with loads of fun and learning experiences. The 5 days spent was well worth it and having to complete various activities has undoubtly develop a sense of achievement in me, from which I have grown. Friendships were also developed that last a lifetime. My heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to FOCUS. Hope to experience more soon :)

Coming in with same expectation I had for any other FOCUS Training Camps, BFC19 blew me away with so much different learning to takeaway each day. Though been there, done that the first time round as a student participant, a second shot is a total different experience. I say the greatest takeaway is in the context of Paradigm shift and winning as a Team. It was a challenging yet memorable 5 days with everyone including current staffs and Facilitators. Bringing ourselves to the next level of challenge, it’s about achieving a better solution, cheers!

For me BFC 19 was both a refresher and a personal development opportunity that I greatly appreciated.

From a Project Manager’s perspective, it was great to experience activities that FOCUS Adventure can conduct for corporate groups. This experience will help me when proposing activities for our clients at CAMP CHALLENGE as now I can think outside the box and cater to the clients objectives.

From a Facilitator’s perspective, I have gained invaluable knowledge of how to compose yourself and how to put meaning into an activity by planning with the end in mind.

The environment of which BFC was conducted allowed us to grow as a Team and individuals. The Team was a great inspiration to me and BFC 19 is not where it ends. We have formed bonds that can never be broken and we will continue to work together to achieve greater heights!

It is only during the worst period, you know who really care about you. Imagine standing on a pole above ground with only a rope on you, the only other source of trust is your Team, without them you have nothing to fall on. BFC 19 is where limits are broken, friends are made, and fun in everything you do. It was an awesome journey and it can never be replaced.

BFC 19 has allowed me to explore many impossibilities! I have never thought that I would be able to conquer the 25m TCP and the experience was definitely one-of -its-kind. BFC also introduced a new perspective to my life which I believe will bring me more opportunities in the future.

I liked the fact that every activity has a learning objective to be picked up which made the whole experience more worthwhile. Being part of a Team, it exposed me to not just experiential learning, but also interactive learning from my Team mates. In the process, I've also made many new friends!

This is definitely memories which will be hatched in my life :)

BFC 19 gave me a very insightful experience into a team building experience. I have been to a couple of team building programs before as a participant but none of them could allow me to feel the feeling of wholesomeness. What I liked most about the program was how every single activity allowed it all to gel into a much bigger picture. The cascading effect really won me over. The facilitator was very professional and I really felt engaged through the various activities. Thank you Focus for this wonderful experience; you guys literally allow me to feel a high.
