I have to say, BFC15, is the only place that has provided me with the experience of friendships, fun, intricacies and knowledge, all in one!

Friendships – The 5 days course has provided me the golden opportunity of meeting people coming from different region all around the world. We were branch of people away from our home and our family, and everyone from BFC15 just looks out for one another, not to mention the feelings of being cared.

Fun – We had lots of fun in Bintan! And I had quite a few of my 1st time experience in Bintan, ranging from All Terrain Vehicles, Flying Fox, WaterBall and Rafting. It is an amazing place where we had fun together as a whole.

Intricacies – I am extremely grateful that I joined BFC15, and was given the chance to challenge the Team Challenge Pyramid, it wasn’t something that you can challenge without the spirit of teamwork. This is where I realize the importance of teammates, trusts, encouragement and support. Without them all, there is no way I can overcome the intricacies, something that one cannot learn from the textbooks.

Knowledge – Most of the activities that we encountered in BFC15 were designed for a fun and meaningful experience, as well as relating them to a learning purpose. I’ve learned a lot of new things, and it was extremely beneficial for my personal growth, not to mention it was a self-fulfilling and self enriching experience.

Overall, BFC15 was great!!

BFC 15 was the most unexpected experience that I have ever had. Meeting new, different and unique people that later on became my team mates was the peak of the whole programme for me. Learning and attaining the knowledge that was given by Adam was another challenge that had to be overcome. It was all a new environment and expecting the process of learning to be "monkey see, monkey do" would just be an understatement. To be the best, one has to really learn and ask around in order for the knowledge to be applicable into real situations.

Overall, BFC 15 was a great knowledge enhancer in many ways. I Hope FOCUS continues to succeed and that more and more BFC's will come around so that new participants will have the same experience I had gotten from participating in this one of a kind BFC programme.

Absolutely Amazing!!! BFC 15 was an experience like no other and certainly brought everyone together in what was both thought provoking and fun.
It was a very well run program, quite exhausting, enlightening and a great tool to bring the people together as well as bringing out the best or worst in them. I really enjoyed the activities, and more importantly, I really felt that it had tangible benefits in terms of my development as an individual and in a team.
I’ll never forget my Team Challenge Pyramid experience… without the other 20 participants; NOTHING will ever be possible and colorful without all of you on that day. It exceeded every expectation I could have had.
On the last day, pictures and video brought me to tears because “I Gotta A feeling….”. I knew it would be fun, but I had no idea how much.
It is great to see everyone bonded with each other in some ways, so there is certainly something for everyone to take back home at the end of the day.

At the beginning, I had doubts about myself, whether I could make it till the end. But the motivational talks that’s been conducted by FOCUS really helped built up my strength and abilities to perform well during the activities. The most valuable moments happened during the extreme activities (love Team Challenge Pyramid!!) where participants had to do in order to know how far we can stretch our mental and physical abilities. At the same time, to know how vigorous we actually are. The minute the activity started, I felt surrounded by love, passion and responsibility (Support! Support! ;p). All the members cared for each other and look after one another to ensure everything was going well. The teamwork was there. Even though during the activities we were a little bit frantic but I'd enjoyed every second of it. I'd never imagined that I will have the chance to do all this..

BFC15 had encouraged me to set my sights higher than before. It's all about what I am learning through others and others from me. It had broadened my horizon and ultimately introduced rewarding new elements to my life. In addition, it helped to redefine my thinking towards misunderstandings and obstacles that I've gone through before. There were lots of ideas and inspirational values that gave me confidence to move forward and make decisions that may change my life to be a better person. What I've learnt during BFC15 actually brings me closer to realizing those goals and makes me more optimistic and self-assured about tackling or handling issues.

In short, BFC15 has transformed me into a person who loves challenging phenomenon, positive thinking and I believe “Every moment is a challenge!”.

Many things had happened during BFC15 that demands more than just reminiscing. Besides all the undeniably cool, challenging and fun - sun burning - activities that we did, there were also moments when I was awestruck with torrents of "aha!" as well as, "Oh man, he tricked us again!" moments. Our main facilitator, Adam, uses his wits to make us realize that we're unknowingly stepping on shaky grounds when we thought we were comfortably safe with the little that we knew - then mercifully ferried us to solid ground.

I especially remember the activity that we discovered - both overt and latent - personalities of others as well as ourselves; that brought much awareness of who we are and how we could interact with others who are similar to us as with those who are not. The latter discovery became a source of enlightenment to most of us while we were taking on the famed Team Challenge Pyramid. Frictions aside, we set aside our differences and weak kneed fears and aced the 25 meter high obstacle structure.

Try it, or shy it, this is FOCUS Adventure!

My perspectives of what a facilitator does has been completely changed by Adam and his team. I give my deepest thanks to everyone that played a part in making the program go smoothly, and I mean everyone, including the Project Execs, the Facilitators, the Technicians and of course, the participants!

I've learnt that strong bonds and relationships can be built between strangers in a mere five days, and all these feelings are credited to the subtle, and not-so-subtle, flow of the program. Everything done has a meaning and a reason, and I believe that to be able to make it so is the unique trait that an accomplished Facilitator would possess!

There's no way to sum up all that has been experienced over these five days, I can only say, nothing beats the experience! I give my thanks to FOCUS Adventure for allowing me such an experience!

Lastly, to the whole of BFC 15,
I'VE GOTTA FEELIN'! That every moment is a challenge!

Absolutely Amazing!!! There is no other way to describe BFC 15. It exceeded every expectation I could have had. I believed that it is true that the only way to truly learn and understand something is to experience it.

BFC 15 has provided a friendly social, as well as a safe way to experience a range of adventure activities with a view to fostering a positive attitude towards further involvement. We were engaged in major challenges where we were required to work together as a team towards a common goal, which could not be accomplished individually. It was interesting to observe the different characters that evolved during the course and how people worked with one another to get the best out of each individual. It is envisaged that positive transfer will occur to my current lifestyle through enhanced understanding and personal experiences in problem solving situations.

Thanks again for the amazing experience.

FOCUS ADVENTURE rocks!

The highlight of BFC 15, I would say, is the interesting personalities that I've encountered...23 strangers put together and asked to perform tasks as a team thats just what you need to cook up some dramas. For me, the most challenging part is not the Team Pyramid Challenge itself but to finish it together as a group.

But, as the course approaches its end, it is quite comforting to notice that finally, we are almost able to function as a team instead of 23 individuals...And I would say the main turning point is the Team Pyramid Challenge. It has helped us realize the importance of our team members and that sometimes, its not the destination that matters rather the journey that takes us there. And not to forget, the company we had along the way...

BFC 15 was one big adventure filled with fun! It has certainly been one great learning experience + holiday. The people, the activities and the challenges that we went through; it will definitely be an experience that I will remember forever!

Who can forget about conquering the 25m high Team Challenge Pyramid? The shaky legs supported only by cable wires? And the reward of coming down via the flying fox to touch ground again? And of course, not forgetting the verry thrilllling ATV ride?!

One thing's for sure, with everyone's help and support, anything is possible! =)

The next thing to do: Take on the upcoming 30m high Team Challenge Hourglass!!!
