Getting There

From Singapore
Hourly Ferry Services are available between Singapore (Harbour Front) and Waterfront City Ferry Terminal, which takes only 45 minutes. Holiday Inn Resort Batam is 500 metres from the Waterfront City Ferry Terminal. Shuttle bus service from Ferry Terminal available.

NOTE : Please be informed that the government of Indonesia will impose the "Visa on Arrival" policy effective 1st February 2004.

Country/Nationals that require VISA on arrival are:
United Stated of America, Finland, Norway, Australia Hungary, France, South Africa, United Kingdom, Poland Argentina, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Japan, New Zealand, Denmark, Germany, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates Canada & South Korea.

Countries/Passport Exempted are:
Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong SAR, Morocco, Chile Thailand, Singapore, Macau SAR, Peru, Malaysia, Vietnam, Phillipines.

For countries are listed, they will have to apply VISA at the Indonesian Embassy.
