FOCUS Adventure Pte Ltd is the leading Adventure-based Experiential Learning provider in Singapore. We operate Adventure Learning sites in Singapore (Sentosa & Sembawang), Indonesia Bintan (Bintan Lagoon Resort & Nirwana Gardens), Batam (Holiday Inn Resor, Batam View & Turi Beach), Malaysia Johor (Sibu Island Resort) , China (Shanghai, Le Meridien, She Shan and Hainan Shenzhou Peninsula) and India (New Delhi Gurgaon).

Our programmes center around 3 key building blocks of any organizational development effort - Leadership Development, Team Development and Change Management/Innovation.

As an integral part of the programme, Challenge Ropes Course together with leading edge Facilitation, are weaved and integrated into a high energy, adrenaline-pumping programme. These elements require individuals and teams to challenge preconceived mindsets to overcome seemingly impossible tasks.

Feb 2011	Adventure Learning Facilitator (Full Time) Facilitator Development Programme	The core skills of a Facilitator are: ~ Management Consulting ~ Public Speaking ~ Facilitation ~ Technical & Safety ~ Client Relationship Management Some hard skills are necessary, such as being able to conduct a rafting scenario and bring clients safely through an expedition. However, soft skills are also important, whereby Facilitators relate the expedition to Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, Goal Setting etc. Facilitators are required to do ‘light’ management consultancy/ organization development work. They are also multi-talented, differentiating themselves to gain competitive edge. There is no limit to the kind of talent that can be used in our programmes. You are only limited by your own imagination. FOCUS Adventure is looking for someone with an adventurous spirit who plans to develop a fun career in this sector and is willing to invest in him/ herself. As a Facilitator, you will work with some of the best companies in Singapore and in the region. Our clients have high expectations and are specific with their objectives, and Facilitators will have to deliver results. Responsibilities Design and delivery of corporate learning programmes with clients’ safety and learning needs as priority Coordinate all logistical needs to ensure smooth running of each programmes Management Consultancy - Meeting with potential prospect clients to identify their learning needs Client Relationship Management Other ad-hoc projects related to training and development Qualifications: Degree in any discipline. Preferably in Training, Organizational Design, Organizational Development or Organizational Psychology Requirements Experience in HRD or corporate learning field 25 years old and above who are sporty and adventurous Excellent one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills Sound understanding of Organization Development process Understand corporate etiquette and the ability of ask the right questions to understand each client’s true business needs Public Speaking - Strong verbal and written communication skills Dynamic personality – Interpersonal skills and relationship building Fast learner, independent and resourceful Willing to travel on short notice It would be advantageous if you are experienced in psychometric tools and possess technically sound knowledge in challenge rope courses and adventure education management skills e.g. risk assessment
Feb 2011	Project Executive / Manager	Responsibilities Basic Function - Achieving Individual as well as Organisation Sales Targets Project Management – Identifying client’s needs, meeting up with potential clients to designing programmes, closing of the deal and overseeing logistics arrangements to ensure smooth flow of programmes Effective planning and use of resources to minimize costs Client Relationship Management - Develop new clients, nurturing and maintaining client relationships - Data management of CRM software, expand and update clientele information Budget Maximization - Effective planning and use of resources to minimize costs • Other secondary or ad-hoc responsibilities Qualifications Degree or diploma in any discipline Requirements Experience • Experience in Hospitality and Event industry (preferred) • At least 3 - 4 years of project/events management exposure (for managerial position) • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Skills/ Knowledge • Good client relationship management skills • Ability to adapt to changes and creative in solutions (able to think out of the box) • Conscientious and detailed oriented to produce quality work - Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Understand corporate etiquette and professional in business dealings - CRM software experience will be an advantage Personal Attributes • Passion to interact with people • Meticulous, especially when dealing with clients • Adaptable and react well to changes • Able to work independently • Time conscious and prompt to respond
